I by no means have your face or figure, but I do have three children under the age of five and NEVER go out on dates with my husband any more. This phase in our lives will be all too brief, but it is important to get a break and reconnect with your spouse sometimes. We really need to do that - but I shudder to think; there is nothing in my closet that fits anymore that I could wear to go to a restaurant, and who in their right mind would want to babysit three kids under 5?? Maybe next year...LOL.Karinanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7616800623248673769.post-70138614562781125982010-01-05T10:12:34.262-05:002010-01-05T10:12:34.262-05:00Your weekend getaway in Colorado sounds perfect! ...Your weekend getaway in Colorado sounds perfect! You're right...it's those little getaways here and there that REALLY let you reconnect as husband and wife. And that picture of you two with Morgan reaching out for you cracks me up. I can totally relate, but it's great you put your smile on anyway. :)Courtney and the Boyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07145366352553039492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7616800623248673769.post-77141968648816913872009-12-29T16:56:38.863-05:002009-12-29T16:56:38.863-05:00I have read your blog for awhile now. I also have your same birthday and went thru the same ordeal as you to go out.
Thanks for being a blessing.
We should get to know each other better as I think we would have much in common.
Blessings on your New Year!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7616800623248673769.post-36653394355018996182009-12-26T14:47:40.209-05:002009-12-26T14:47:40.209-05:00Sounds like a wonderful plan!

I know the difficulties of doing simple things, like getting ready when you have a little one around. It is impossible for me to get ready with an eight month old pulling over the hamper and trying to reach the cord while I try to dry my hair! Enjoy your upcoming trip be sure to relax!
CourtneyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7616800623248673769.post-4615944863930366912009-12-24T21:50:40.576-05:002009-12-24T21:50:40.576-05:00I like how you changed the saying. In fact, on top of "Help me Lord, I'm losing it." that will actually now become my motto.

I really do love that photo of Morgan with her hands stretched out. If anything, it pretty much summarizes this season of our lives. Which, as awful as it sounds (and I know I WILL miss it) I'm actually looking forward for it to end. You know, the day when you could just order pizza for the kids, leave them at home with Hunger (because he'll be old enough by then) and go out all night.

So jealous of your Colorado trip. I know it will be so good for you and Mark.

Oh, and the comment about M pulling your thong? I cracked up laughing.

Merry Christmas, darling! Love you.daniellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04620965812112645981noreply@blogger.com
