MacKenzie's Room

Well this weekend I broke down and unpacked all the boxes and gifts from my friends who attended the Texas baby shower.   It took me a few hours to go through it all and organize her closet but I did it.  Now I will do this again next week after the Florida baby shower... but this time I have some direction to go by.

Daddy thinks she looks like mommy already- what do you think?

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” Jer 1:5

My beautiful girl smiling and saying "hi".

I'm the BIG BROTHER

This is my Hunter-bunter and yes he is going to be the BEST big brother ever.  I have to give Hunter a lot of credit for his growing love for his baby sister over the last few months has been so sweet and pleasant for me.  He often gets to feel his sister kicking and moving.  He is now getting where he will lay his head on my belly, kiss it and hug it when he leaves for school in the morning. I am very proud of him for each time mommy has gotten sick (which is often) he has been such a big help and carrying to me.
He is very excited about his new sisters arrival and gives a constant reminder that he wants to see pictures of her birth.  He even got out his own little cam-recorder that he will take to the hospital and video tape himself.  I love it.

MacKenzie's Room

So far we have her crib and a beautiful rocking chair.  The rocker was a gift from Mark's parents. Her room colors are tan, cream, beige and a very soft pastel blue colors.  The feeling of her room is very calming and soothing, as if at a spa. We are still waiting on the changing table.  We are also putting a crown canopy net up over her crib and the picture will come down. The crib bedding was custom designed to match the custom curtains that had already been made and installed in the room when it was a guest bedroom. We are very please with her room and can't wait to bring her home to it.
