The FUTURE!
I truly feel honored in so many ways that I was able to photograph such an amazing miracle, the birth of a child.  I can't explain how excited I was about this.  It's very surreal at this time for me, that I watched this child be born via c-section.  Yes, I watched the entire thing and loved every minute of it, for all you squeamish week stomach folks.

I enjoyed capturing such emotions, such love and the beautiful circle of life. I am thankful, because I am the FIRST photographer that this hospital has accepted in for birth photography.  The doctors, nurses and entire staff were wonderful people to work with.  It truly felt like a peaceful miraculous day in every way.

Baby Zane, born beautiful and healthy.  So soft, tender and small.... yet so big of life.  That first cry, that first peek out of the eyes and that first moment when daddy and son see face to face.  I will never forget today.

Thank you David and Lisa, for allowing me to be apart of your family, your lives and this very special moment in welcoming your son, Zane.

PS:  I have tons more of photos, but once the others are approved by the parents, Ill post a slide show.

Because I know you want to know...

What hubby's hidden Valentines gift was.

He got a nice clock for his office.
A bottle of red wine.
A movie with his 'man crush' (Jason Sathem) in it.
And a little valentines card with these little coupon tickets, to use.

~Bubble Bath

How is that for a manly, masculine Valentines gift ladies and gentlemen?

Kids:  I had Valentines gifts waiting for the kids outside of the hotel door the morning of V-day for them to wake up to.

Hunter, woke to a hand held Yahtzee game toy and a mini sling shot with foam balls and a card.

Morgan got a red teddy bear and a card.

Me?

Well, I got a really cool gift surprise from my honey that was waiting for me when I got home from Chicago last night.  I WILL share with you, but can't until the time is right. However, it was very sweet, very thoughtful and a very big surprise.  I can't share details yet...... but I will.

We had a great Valentines!!!

Father - Daughter Dance

Im back from Chicago as of last night.  It was a great time. I have lots of fun things to share and catch up on, including the birth of my BFF's delivery, that I got to watch, photograph and even cut the cord for this morning.  He is BEAUTIFUL just to let you know.  I am in the process of downloading images, but need to make space on the little MAC laptop I use here, because I don't use the other 3 computers in my house for whatever reason.

Well, I went to the Father-Daughter dance I had mentioned I would be photographing for this small private school.  Here is a sneak peak....

As I mentioned I have never done this before. I am very inexperienced and not really great at the indoor/night stuff just yet. I do not have any fancy flashes to go on my camera to help me out so I had to go with what I had.

Anyways, I enjoyed it, the school is pleased and I survived.  I wanted to share a few of the many photos I got that night.  Now I can delete them off my computer.  *smiling*

My date, Charlie!

I just loved watching all the girls run around in their beautiful dresses. Getting their nails polished and faces painted.  Running around giggling, dancing and blowing bubbles.  Then to shift gears and be so sweetly in their daddy's arms for some sweet slow dancing.  I had a moment where I caught myself off in the future with tears about to form in my eyes, thinking a short few years ahead when Mark will be dancing with Morgan like this.  Awe!!!!
