The family chain is broken, Edna Mae is with Jesus.

The Broken Chain Poem

We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone,
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the Chain will link again.

Please pray for this family. I will be attending the services this week. My heart is hurting painfully deep tonight.

What do you say to that? God be with the entire family here on earth while Heaven rejoices, yet mourns for the family's pain.

My sympathy to you and your friend's family at this unimaginable tragedy. I'm in awe of their faith and strength as they chose to play music and worship in the very moments of their greatest loss.

The Broken Chain poem in incredibly touching and has special meaning to my family, my husband recited it at his mother's memorial service just 7 months ago.

Take care in this upcoming week.
