As you see I had a
little HUGE makeover done, by
Blogs by Danielle. Isn't it just beachy? I love it!
Please take note and grab my NEW button on the left of my blog! Its much cooler than the one I actually made before, and thanks for showing a girl some love with posting my button on your site.
Also, if you are not already following, take a moment and click "follow this blog" over to the left there. This way you can get to know us over here, and I can also get to know you over there. Besides, I promise to make you laugh, cry, giggle, weep, confused, smile or maybe even excited or bored at any given time, with out warning, and randomly. *winking*
Also, be sure to check out the navigation bar at the top. I still have a couple of other little makeovers taking place....so stay tuned.
Now, with all that fun stuff said, I have to share my new found fun tonight. Take a look at this image below. Isn't it a nice photo of a beautiful family? Those are my friends Adam and Kristen Haynes. I would like to let everyone know that I, Misty, customized that image all on my own in MY OWN PHOTOSHOP for their blog header. Ahem. Including all her custom titles and sidebar dividers, all done on my own photoshop. Not scrapblog or any other cool websites, but my very own computer here. I have been totally clueless on how to work in photoshop. Tonight after hubby and Morgan went to bed, I decided to give it a whirl, and I did it. And I did it all on my very first try. WOW! You may not be all that impressed, but man I sure am. I have shown you the other blogs I have done by using other sites and features, and those look nice too. However, I have been wanting to make my very own Misty Rice designs, as the professionals like Danielle do and did for my blog for so long now.
Now, I am not looking to do this professionally by any means. I don't have enough time or experience in my day. I have actually done a few blogs in which I will list below for you to check out. I am simply willing to do basic blog makeovers for a small fee to give to my charities. If you are not wanting to pay the high prices for the pros, and want to be involved in and learn more on how you can help support my charities (MISC Tab) then email me or leave me a comment me. However, if you are looking for more than a simple basic makeover (my basic makeover includes: custom header, titles and dividers in sidebar and possibly a custom site button) then you should pay the price and talk to the pros because this stuff takes time people. And the kits which are the things used to decorate the images and sidebars (we call them elements) aren't free either. They range from $3-$25 (give and take).
Okay, it is 1:40 AM and I must head to bed. I got myself all wound up when I discovered that I Misty, made my first real cool scrap image in photoshop tonight. Swweeetttt!!!
Click over at The
Haynes Blog and check it out! And then come back and check out all the others I did using other website. I am looking forward to making more headers, using my own unique and custom designs, done in photoshop. Who's next?
*
Note* I only did HEADERS for all blogs, while using backgrounds from '
the cutes blogs on the block' site. I am actually exploring now with how to get custom backgrounds in there. I almost have it. Aside from headers, I made for Fort Thompson blog, custom sidebar pictures and button. For The Haynes I made all custom titles and dividers on the sidebar. All others I only made headers! Let me know if you would like to help out one of my charities and have a basic blog makeover by me. If you want a professionals work, I highly recommend Blog by Danielle. She is a young christian girl, who is very nice to work with and just so very talented!!!
PS: I introduced Adam to Kristen back in 2005, and now look at them!
A beautiful Godly family!
