A rock, a flower and a trophy.

So it's Mother's Day, eh?

No, I am not Canadian and after reading the rest of this post or any other post on here, I make that very clear.  Not that there is anything wrong with being Canadian, but being a Texas girl, there is no way around the fact that pretending to be a Canadian is anything but possible.  Ha!

Okay, so I have seriously thought of a few different types of post to post today on Mother's Day.  However, I can't seem to get away or find enough time to let my mind think them through fully.

I thought about writing a letter to my mom, as my post.

I thought about writing about Mother's Day, being a mom. (any excuse to post pictures of my kiddos, eh?)

I thought about posting a cute little email I received talking about what it means to be a mother.

I thought about writing a letter to all of YOU mother's I have come to know via the blog world.
But....

I just can't seem to get all my thoughts organized enough for any aforementioned.

In truth.

I could sit here and tell you what an amazing mother, my mom is.

I could tell you how she is one of the strongest people I know.

I could tell you how she cracks me up that she mispronounces just about every other word, but I still love her dearly.

I could tell you how she is my best friend.  She really is.

I could tell you how she is one of those moms, that all your friends want to come over to talk with or get advice from.

I can tell you how she is a women of many sacrifices.

I can tell you how she pretty much became a mom the year she dropped out of the 9th grade to help her own mother with her 7 siblings.  Talk about sacrifice.

I could tell you how she has dedicated her life to my sister, brother and me. And continues to even to our own kids.

I could tell you how she is one amazing person......

But then again, didn't I just do that?

I love my mom with all my heart.  I wish she lived closer by.

She is a rock, a flower, and a trophy.

Most of all SHE IS MY MOTHER

Happy Mothers Day, Mom!

Happy Mother's Day to ALL you beautiful mother's out there.

I know some are on cloud 9 today celebrating your first mothers day with your first born.

 Happy Mother's Day.

I know some are having one of the hardest and saddest days of their lives, because they have lost either a child or their only child.

Happy Mother's Day.

I know some are hoping, wishing and trying to be a first time mom.

Happy Mother's Day.

I know some that will never be able to give birth to their own.

Happy Mother's Day.

I know some that have and are adopting their children.

Happy Mother's Day.

If you have in anyway loved a child.... YOU ARE A MOTHER.

Happy Mother's Day.

GOD BLESS.

What a pretty Mama you have! You get your beauty from her.

I'm from Texas too, and DANG there are a lot of pretty girls from Texas! Seems like there are a lot of blondes from Texas too, like Jerry Hall, who reminds me of my Mom.

Happy Mothere's Day Misty!!

What a gorgeous picture! Your family is SO beautiful. As far as speaking "Canadian", you did pretty good with the "Eh" part now let's work on some others shall we...actually I am feeling a sense of shame, what being Canadian and all and that is the only one I can think of at the moment...let's blame it on Monday.
