Because I know you want to know...

What hubby's hidden Valentines gift was.

He got a nice clock for his office.
A bottle of red wine.
A movie with his 'man crush' (Jason Sathem) in it.
And a little valentines card with these little coupon tickets, to use.

~One Backrub
~Romantic Dinner
~Movie Night
~Secret Fantasy
~Bubble Bath

How is that for a manly, masculine Valentines gift ladies and gentlemen?

Kids:  I had Valentines gifts waiting for the kids outside of the hotel door the morning of V-day for them to wake up to.

Hunter, woke to a hand held Yahtzee game toy and a mini sling shot with foam balls and a card.

Morgan got a red teddy bear and a card.

Me?

Well, I got a really cool gift surprise from my honey that was waiting for me when I got home from Chicago last night.  I WILL share with you, but can't until the time is right. However, it was very sweet, very thoughtful and a very big surprise.  I can't share details yet...... but I will.

We had a great Valentines!!!

Father - Daughter Dance

Im back from Chicago as of last night.  It was a great time. I have lots of fun things to share and catch up on, including the birth of my BFF's delivery, that I got to watch, photograph and even cut the cord for this morning.  He is BEAUTIFUL just to let you know.  I am in the process of downloading images, but need to make space on the little MAC laptop I use here, because I don't use the other 3 computers in my house for whatever reason.

Well, I went to the Father-Daughter dance I had mentioned I would be photographing for this small private school.  Here is a sneak peak....

As I mentioned I have never done this before. I am very inexperienced and not really great at the indoor/night stuff just yet. I do not have any fancy flashes to go on my camera to help me out so I had to go with what I had.

Anyways, I enjoyed it, the school is pleased and I survived.  I wanted to share a few of the many photos I got that night.  Now I can delete them off my computer.  *smiling*

My date, Charlie!

I just loved watching all the girls run around in their beautiful dresses. Getting their nails polished and faces painted.  Running around giggling, dancing and blowing bubbles.  Then to shift gears and be so sweetly in their daddy's arms for some sweet slow dancing.  I had a moment where I caught myself off in the future with tears about to form in my eyes, thinking a short few years ahead when Mark will be dancing with Morgan like this.  Awe!!!!

Not Me Monday....

Its a Not Me, Monday (again).

I so did not get up cranky for my photo shoot early last Saturday morning, because I knew they were going to put me in a swimsuit, in a freezing (non-heated) pool, in 60 degree weather.  And while that was not me, also running late going a little above the speed limit.  It was not me in the Black SUV on I75 South, pulled over by a very cranky female cop.  Where I did not receive a speeding ticket, in which she did not lie on the ticket at say I was doing WAY over the speed the verbally told me she "clocked" me at.  So I will not be taking this to court and fighting, and I did not call my brother (which all my brothers are cops) to first call him a "PIG", and then tell on this cranky female cop and then ask him for advice on how to handle a falsified ticket that I did not receive.
(not an actual photo, got it off web)
I did not show up 20 minutes late to my job, I am almost always on time and professional and would never appear any differently.

As I then did not get blown away when I walked out to the pool in which I would soon be in, to see this view looking right back at me.

And I did not have to stand outside in the cold, wind and sprinkles ALL DAY long, because they did not have any indoor place for us to hang out in during the day.  So I was not freezing, snuggled in my robe in 60 degree weather for exactly 8 hours this day.

This client did not tell my agent that I would be sitting on a huge raft, and would therefor not be in the water when she called to ask why they would not heat the pool for me on such a cold day. To then not A) have a huge raft in the first place, B) have me on top of it and out of the water.... but instead did not have me standing in it next to a small little foam float, waist deep, for almost an hour, until the shot was finished. Does that look like a huge raft folks? And does that look like I am in the water, not out of the water??? Hmmmm.....
I did not ask the nice make-up artist to shoot me in the pool so I can post on my blog another day in my shoes feet! As well so I could not have proof of what the clients lied to my agent about and had me doing this day. And I did not hear the props lady say to me, "I heard the client on the phone with your agent, and when they got off of it, they started laughing and said, yea tell the model to take x-amount of dollars off her pay and then we will consider heating the pool for her."  Not nice!!!

I did not admire all the wind surfers I got to watch all day long, flipping and jumping out of the water like they were dolphins or something.  I did not wish I was out doing that instead of sitting pretty in front of the camera.  And the win-surfers also did not try to fly as close as possible to us to see what or who was in all the spot lights by that huge house and pool, to only look funny when they messed up and had kite and themselves all submerge in the water.  Because then they had to swim/walk back to the starting base.

I did not admire this HUGE home, and wonder why in the heck would the owners have such an amazing home and property.  To not take care of the exterior part of the home, letting it rot away, but kept the inside (from what I could see in windows) very well kept and beautiful? I am not confused by this at all.
And on my way home I did not get that voice in my head, God saying "see Misty, someone had to do it!" While I then did not smile up at him and thank him for another beautiful day of work, and a little pleading to not get another speeding ticket on the way home.  Because that was not me that got the ticket in the first place. NOT ME!!!

Little Teasers from the cruise....

I promise to have pictures from the cruise posted up soon!!!  However, I just LOVE these.  I love seeing Hunter and Morgan, hanging out and playing.  I admire their bond, their love and friendship.  Its so real and beautiful.

*Keep in mind, I was using my little Sony point and shoot camera, for I had a blonde moment and thought my SLR camera was broken.

PS:  I am still in Chicago with the kiddos, until tonight. I hope you enjoyed these predated post I left for you through the weekend.  You know, doing that "post every day" thing for my readers.  I was showing you all some love, while getting to entertain my family with the photos of the kids and playing a little treasure hunt with my hubby on V-day.

I am really looking forward to our day off as a family tomorrow, and I already have my Not Me Monday post ready to go.  So be sure to stop by and check it out, I may make you giggle or even wet your pants. You never know what I will write, say or post these days!!!

I got a new ?

A pet?

No, no..... actually, this is a post dated post.  I am in Chicago with Hunter and Morgan, FREEZING!!! (so I assume anyways, since I am not technically there yet)  We are here on Valentines Day for Hunter's hockey tournament. I have never been to Chicago, and I can't tell you much about it yet, since I am writing this post on Wednesday the 11th.  LOL

However, I wanted to experience a weekend on the road with Hunter and his hockey team.  I thought Chicago would be a place to go and support the boys.

This means, Hunter and Morgan or my Valentines and that daddy is home with the kitty's. Little does he know, I have hidden a little Valentines gift for him to find...... and this post is going to help me with giving him hints to find his treasure gift.  So here we go......

Hint #1:
This is a place in the house we both often race to get to.
Hint #2:
We often use to look in at this and see nothing.
Hint #3:
Now we often look in and see an amazing someone.
Hint #4:
We often change items on this.
Hint #5:
Shilo is often found in it or under it....
So where does 'X' mark the spot of your hidden treasure???

Happy Valentines Day Honey!

We miss you and we will see you late tomorrow night.

Love,
Misty and Morgan

PS:  This is Morgan's new little jail house  play area.  She is so mobile and when I am need to keep her located in one safe place, this is it.  She seems to enjoy it for the most part.  We try to not put her in there that much, so when she does go in there it doesn't feel like a place of entrapment to her in a negative sense.  I don't want her to feel like an animal, always pinned up or this is a place of punishment. So we are making it a fun time for her.  I am actually getting anther gate that will have a better door to open on it, so I can leave it open for her to go in and out of it on her own, and then can close the door when I need to keep her safe in one place while I do what I need to do in the house, when home alone.  I don't think I can take a picture of her and she not look too cute for words.

*Okay.... if you looked in the first place to only be confused because nothing was there. It's because I picked the spot before picking the gift.  So now the next hint is this:

Its a room with lots of Bakugans in it.

Its in a place that can often be a stinky place for little boys.  (other than the bathroom)

Its a place where kids will often hide.

Its a place where when I met you, the only room in your house that was a disaster, while the rest of your house was clean.

If you can't figure it out by now...... IM me and I will tell you.

Happy Hunting!!!!
