His Will Wednesday

Do you have a prayer, need, request or a thanks for an answered prayer and need a safe place to share it?
You have come to the right place.  A christian faith blog, with a ton of prayer worriers.  If you are hurting, struggling, healing, changing, trying, worried, happy, thankful, stressed, angry, confused, scared, sick, sad, unsure and even lost.
It doesn't matter, because HIS love is deeper than anything you are going through or experiencing. You just need to trust Him enough, believe in Him enough, and even allow Him enough to show up in your life and prayers.
Please leave your prayer request in the comment section, and know that people are reading them and praying for you.  And I once read and LOVED this little chain idea.  If you do not read all prayer request, while you post your own request, will you please take the time to say a prayer for the person right above your comment?
I personally will read each and everyone myself and pray over them.
I also would like to post a couple of my own personal prayer request here.
1.  Please pray for a friend of mine.  She lost her father this past fall, and now her sister has stomach cancer, and just had half of her stomach and intestines removed.  My friend is a busy mom of three little kids, a wife to a pro-coach whom is always on the road traveling, and she is trying to find that balance for her immediate family and her own family.
2. Also, my other friend Susan, is still dealing with the hurt and sadness of losing her mom to cancer last month.  She is here in Florida alone with no family for support.  Please pray for her to have some peace and comfort during this difficult time.
3.  Also, I had a prayer request sent to me a few days ago from a lady that was scheduled to have a c-section TODAY.  At this time I can't find her information, or I would direct you to her blog.  Hopefully in a few days she will be able to give us all an update.  Please pray that all went smoothly and that baby and mom are healthy.  I'll check to see if her request was left on last Wednesday's comments.

I found her, go see her answered prayer here!! He is BIG and beautiful.

4. My buddy Tim, over at Fort Thompson is having surgery on Thursday. Please read here for more.

5. Please pray for Baby Lindsay.

6. Please pray for Baby Ryan.

7. Please pray for Baby Avery.

8. Please pray for Maggie.

9. Please pray for Camryn.

10. Please pray for Baby Jonah.

Oh....and look who is going to be a BIG SISTER!!! Baby Cora! The Mac's are expecting, due in January. They lost Cora at 11 months old, just four months ago. Please pray for this family's healing, and blessings.
11. Pray for Abby and Abby. Two beautiful and brave girls.

And don't forget, if you know of, or have an answered prayer.  Please feel free to share it here because we need to be reminded to give thanks, just as much if not more than we pray and seek.
I have been thinking about this button thing, and a reader sent me this one and I like it.
Thought I get your thoughts too.
Do you like this for a button?
And I can use the OLD button for the header picture for HWW post?
GOD BLESS!

Love that button and this is a great idea to allow people to post requests.

My dad is currently in kidney failure and we are awaiting a kidney, so if you could pray for him that would be great!

Thanks so much...;)

Baby Ryan, his button is on my kids prayer roll to the left of my blog. He is going into surgery tomorrow for his chest skin pacemaker. Please click on his button "PRAYING FOR RYAN" on my blog and stop by and show that family some love.

Dear Father,
I take this time to stop and say a prayer for the person above this comment. I pray for her father, that if it be Your will, that his kidney continues to function until the new arrives LORD. I pray that a new kidney does arrive. Please give that family courage and comfort as you walk with them through this.

Amen.

I love the new button you have at the bottom. Seeing the top button made my stomach sink a little. I think that button will forever be connected to something that was just not good.

We are having Vacation Bible School at our church this week. We have many unchurched visitors. Please pray that the Lord will speak to these children and to their families through them.

I love the new button at the bottom. I am so glad that you decided to continue this.

I have a prayer blog connected to my main blog and I will be glad to join you each Wednesday in prayer over here also.

Our God is so good. There is such power in prayer.

I work as a school psychologist in a very small rural low income district ...two years ago one of our families had a 10 year old with Leukemia and with the Grace of God he pulled through after the family had prepared to say Goodbye...Well we just found out two weeks ago that the father (40 years old and father to 4 children) has stage 4 cancer and is currently on hospice...THey spent their savings on their son's battle with cancer and now on top of trying to prepare for losing a husband and father they are losing their only source of income...Please pray for the Koster family! They are such a sweet sweet family that needs our prayers desperately right now!

THANKS so much Misty for allowing us to share our prayer requests!

Thank you so much Misty for continuing this. Leaving comments - it is a much better way of handling the prayer requests since it is not as time consuming on your end and you shouldn't need any help with this. Also, thank you for stopping by my blog last week. That was such a nice surprise! I never expected to have a comment from you!

I really do like the new button. Very cute.

If you could please pray for my husband and myself - that God blesses us with a little one soon. We miscarried in December and are currently trying to conceive. It has been a difficult road for us and we just very much want to be parents. Also, July 4th would have been our due date and as that approaches, we are really struggling with the "why us." Any and all prayers are very much appreciated.

Thanks again!

My prayer request is for my dear friend and her husband. He will be going into surgery to remove a tumor on his spine, and it will be 2 extensive surgeries. Please pray for his healing, wisdom for the surgeons, and strength for his wife to stay strong throughout this ordeal. They are wonderful people.

Thanks.

Great idea Mist!

I love this! Thanks so much for the prayers! They all mean so much. I dont know why, call it old age maybe, but this surgery has me a little worried. I hope its nothing. Maybe its just all the stories you see on tv where things go wrong? Who knows, but I appreciate your prayers sooo much

My only prayer request at this time is that everyone pray for those kids listed in my prayer request in my sidebar.

Send our love to Mark and the kiddos!

Love and Prayers,

Tim

I like the new button. Great job to whoever made it.

Just read through the comments so far and said a prayer for everyone listed as well as all the babies needing prayer in your post.

What a praise to see what God is doing in the Mac's lives!!

I have a small--but important to me--prayer request. I just got accepted into nursing school for the fall (which I am so excited about) but am feeling really anxious and scared about it. I know deep down this is the right time for me to take this step. Although, I am stressing about going to school 30+ hours a week and keeping up with 3 kids while Tony is in Iraq. He should be back right after I start but will have to finish out a few months in Utah before heading down here with us. Please pray that God will give me strength and peace in choosing what is best for our family and future.

Also, for Tony's safety while he is in Iraq. We want him to come home safe to us!!

Thanks and God Bless!

Will surely be praying for you, school, kids and hubby. That is a lot, no wonder you feel anxious and scared. Just stay positive and keep focused, it will all work out according to HIS will.

Blessings.

PS: I just mentioned this to Mark the other night. I always have that itch to go to nursing school also. But I don't want to be just a nurse, i want to be a pediatric nurse at the hospital. Is there a difference in degree, title or schooling?

What I LIKE is that you are so willing to pray for others. That's what I like. (Oh, and the button is cute too)!

Misty,

That is what I want to do as well (or labor and delivery). It has always been my dream to work at Children's Hospital in Dallas. As a matter of fact, I have been checking their job openings online for the past probably 6 years. I know--I'm crazy! That is why though I'm so excited and anxious at the same time. I want this so bad and just pray I'm making the right decision.

Anyways, back to your question...if you go to nursing school and get your LVN, RN whatever you can choose to work in whatever field you would like. Sometimes they like you to have experience with kids or whatever but you don't have to get a "special" degree.

You would make a great pediatric nurse by the way :)

My husband and I are experiencing infertility...we thought this time would be THE time, unfortunately it was not.

Please pray that He will open my womb and bless us with a baby. AND that we will be patient and wait for His timing.

Now I'm headed back up to the top of the comments to start praying for the rest of you :)

I love the new button! I must have started reading your blog after you stopped this, but it's a GREAT idea! I need some good Christ loving girls in my life these days. You and Daniella inspire me very much.

I suppose I could throw a personal prayer request out there too. I've been struggling with anxiety and some panic attacks lately. I'm getting ready to move across the country to California, which I'm UBER excited about, but I'm also extremely nervous. Since hubs is deployed, I'm doing it alone. I'm nervous about flying with my 24 month old by myself, being in a place that's SOOOO far from home, saying goodbye to my family and friends whom I've been blessed to spend the last 5 months with. I'm nervous about re-connecting with the hubs when his deployment is over... the list goes on. I know God is in control and that worry is not of Him, but I can't help it! Ack! Prayers please! For traveling safety for Noah and I, and for my parents and friends who are driving my cars across the country as well.

Thank you dear :)
