I love this story - I hope my angels call me blessed! (watch the babies eyes blink)
A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'
The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'
Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'
'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' and God replied, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'
'Who will protect me?'
God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.'
'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'
And God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'
Love Wild Life
Here are pictures of two birds. The hawk was just sitting in a tree near my house and so I stopped to admire it and took a picture of it. I think it looks so cool. Then the Blue-Jay I actually heard screaming outside one day and when I went to see what all the noise was and it was pinned down by two cats (not mine) being tortured. I rescued him and took him inside for he was in shock and his wing was hurt. After I got him to calm down I took him out to see if he would fly but for about 20 minutes he just sat on my hand. Then finally out of no where he took off (or she) and I followed... he/she went up to a nest where another blue-jay was sitting and joined his/her partner. I felt so good that day and this picture will always be something to smile about.

Movie Night with the boys -
My boy is going camping this weekend with his daddy so I wanted to get in a date night with my boys before he if off. We all voted on the movie "Ice Age" to watch. Hunter got in his favorite comfy outfit (pj pants and sweat shirt) and then snuggled in with his favorite buddy (Milo). As you can see Hunters face is a little red. He had the day off from school Thursday for teacher/parent conference. By the way the teacher says my little first grader is reading on 3rd grade level (Good job Hunter!) and is above average in math. My little smarty pants. So for the day off, daddy took him to the beach for the day and he got his first real sunburn. He loves when mommy gives him massages so he asked me ever so sweetly to massage some sunburn relief cream all over his back.

Easter Bunny Came to see us
Easter Bunny made a visit so I guess the rain wasn't an issue. The prince woke up at 5:00 am to crawl in bed with us from having a bad dream. Tells me the Easter Bunny hasn't come yet (which he did prince was running into our room too fast to notice). He says to me "I thought I saw some white fur on the floor but it could have been cat hair." Hilarious, because it must have been cat hair for I would have never thought to leave fur from the bunny. Then he decides he can't go back to sleep and asked if he could go watch cartoons in his room. So of course the answer is yes if it means I can continue to get what shut-eye I can these days. So when he leaves the room I am thinking for sure he is going to see the basket now and so I count 5, 4, 3... waiting for the door to open back up with excitement that the Easter bunny came. Nope! Still he ran too fast back to his room to notice again. Although it isn't because it is dark for I left the light on in the living room, but at the same time I am thinking "oh good, keep sleeping then".
Then 6:00 am rolls around he is back in and tells me Easter Bunny came. I said "okay let mommy have a few more minutes then I will get up." He sweetly says "do you want me to come back in at 6:30?" I reply and at 6:30 exactly he comes back in and tells me he really wants me to come and see what the Easter Bunny brought him because he didn't want to mess it up until I saw it first. I know very sweet, right? So I get up and we go through it all and I take his picture and then there was no going back to bed. He was very excited with his treats.
At 11:30 am we attended a birthday party and then at 3:00 had Easter dinner at the Evans home. So it was a very pleasant and fun filled Easter day for us.
I hope everyone had a blessed Easter Day!!!

Marks Surprise 31st Birthday Dinner at Seasons 52 in Boca (click on pictures to zoom images)
Chaz, Noelle, Birthday-Boy, Mama-to-be, Brad, Lindsay and Rob. Rob's wife was home sick and couldn't make it but was glad to have him still join.
The girls (all 4 of us).
Hunter took this picture before we left the house!!!
It was a fun night out with some friends and a nice dinner, considering it is probably the last one that we will have before baby is here. So I had some friends help me surprise Mark for his 31st birthday (which is Monday March 24th) for dinner at Seasons 52.
Allergy Testing -
Yesterday I took Hunter in for his allergy testing. He was a bit nervous but the nurse was great and did a really quick job with him. First they drew the lines on his arms (numbered) and then put a drop of all types of allergy prone substances on his arms. Once that is done he then sits there for 30 minutes while watching a movie of his choice (Snow Dogs) and waits to see the reaction. He did have small reactions to a few things but nothing on the level of concern. So that was a positive turn out, but still doesn't explain why my boo keeps having a congested nose. On an even brighter note we thought for sure he would have some allergies toward cats considering I have two and his dad has one, and his dad does have allergies to cats. As well as when he was a baby the doctor tried telling me that I would have to get rid of my cats (which wasn't going to happen) and as it turns out he has ZERO allergies to cats. YEA!!!! Here are some of the pictures from our day!

Crown is up - YEA!!! I love it!
Okay so Barry came by last night to install the crown over the bedding and as of now the room is complete other than some wall decor and the changing table. Mark and I are very pleased with her room. Thanks Barry and Kelly for your help!
As daddy says "her rooms is very soothing" in which is my favorite feeling for any room.
Here are some photos as best as a camera can express what the crown looks like in her room.

Here I am at 35-Weeks (Only 26-Days to go)
I am almost
there!!!!
Today I had my 35 week check-up and this time I didn't get in trouble for not drinking enough water. Baby girl has in fact dropped, which explains all the pelvic/groin pains I have. Braxton Hicks contractions come daily it seems now. So far I have gained 27 pounds and all looks great.
The photographer of these pictures is Mr. Hunter himself.
Her bed is complete -
Today I washed her "organic" sheet and the skirt was brought over to finalize her crib. The reason I expressed organic is because I know a lot of people are making a big deal about organic baby stuff, which don't get me wrong I think is great. However I purchased the sheets for her crib because they match the best with her bedding I had made and they were really soft. With that and knowing I am also giving her the best with the "organic" purchase made it all the better.
All I have remaining in her room is hanging up the crown canopy net over the crib, which I can't wait to see and her changing table, which has been pushed back even later on backorder until March 31st. I just hope that it comes in before she gets here just so I can have it and her room will be complete. Once that gets here we will hang a few wall decors and it will be finished.

Spring Break in Disney!
Yes with less than a month left before I have a baby we took Hunter to Disney for Spring Break. It was also a trip that I wanted us to do as a family alone with Hunter before the baby arrives. I know once the baby arrives she will demand a lot of my attention and will limit to some of the things I can do now with Hunter.
When you live here in Florida and can drive to Disney it allows you to take such quick trips to Disney with friends from your school. Hunter had 3 of his best buddies from his homeroom class visiting at the same. The parents even booked the same hotel so the kids could play. We all stayed at the Nick Hotel and I just have to say that this hotel although being a Holiday Inn, really isn't a Holiday Inn. It was great! It was very creative, entertaining for the kids, tons of activities and the rooms were kid friendly. In fact we all spent one full day at the hotel alone. The kids swam, played basketball, played at the water park, miniature golf and had breakfast with characters. At the end of the day they all got slimmed and then later that night we attended a show. The kids had a blast.
The next day we all decided to go to MGM (officially now known as Hollywood Studios). This day started out pretty good. We slept in a little, got up and packed, checked out of the hotel and grabbed a bite to eat for breakfast. However as soon as we pulled into the parking lot of MGM my car sends us an alarm of something going wrong. As it turns out I took Hunter into the park with the other families while my hubby stayed with the car. They had to come and tow it and take it to the nearest Land Rover place in Orlando. Then they ran him all over the city trying to get him a rental car that we would have to drive back to Fort Lauderdale (3 hours) that night after the parks. The weather ended up turning cold and raining, while going to those parks with so many kids or just the parks in general is tiring in itself!! Made a short trip to Disney seem like a LONG trip to Disney.
However we made it home, Hunter had a blast other than being upset that we left his DS in the Range Rover in Orlando. As it turns out my car must have gotten a leak in the coolant thing and the car was over heating. So they should have it delivered back to me here by Wednesday or Thursday.

Let's compare!
Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE says that I am caring like I am having a boy. There isn't a day that goes by that someone does say something to me or Mark about how I seem to be caring a boy.
Of course we have had enough sonograms now to know that we are for sure having a little girl. Plus her pictures from the 4D sonogram show a beautiful little girls face.
For fun though I pulled up a couple of pictures to compare and when I compare these pictures I see the difference in how my body carried each pregnancy it's own different way.
With Hunter my stomach is higher and more outward. With MacKenzie my stomach is lower and more rounder (more on the sides for sure). I don't know if age has anything to do with it but there is almost a 10 year gap between both pregnancies so my body just may be different too.
Anyways here are the pictures to compare yourself. Hunter in red top at age 21 years old. MacKenzie in green swimsuit at age 30 years old.
P.S. Thank goodness for airbrush tans.... I think I am white now, I was really white when pregnant with Hunter.

Hunter in Aspen
My little man is in Aspen right now (for the weekend) getting back tomorrow Tuesday. His daddy sends me pictures of him and so I thought I would share them with you guys. He is the cutest little snowboarder I know.
Also this little boy has a heart for animals just like his mom. He just loves animals and you can just see the joy and love he has when around them. Check him out with the dogs from his dog-sled ride in ASPEN.
Also Hunter took his first snowboarding school and so now he loves snowboarding and doesn't want to go back out skiing. I think we have lost our ski buddy for snowboarding. One thing for sure that this is one ski-loving family. Mark and I went to Jackson Hole for our honeymoon and we promise to go skiing at least once a year in this house.

MacKenzie's Room
Well this weekend I broke down and unpacked all the boxes and gifts from my friends who attended the Texas baby shower. It took me a few hours to go through it all and organize her closet but I did it. Now I will do this again next week after the Florida baby shower... but this time I have some direction to go by.
